The PharmGKB Knowledge Pyramid

The PharmGKB Knowledge Pyramid (Figure 1) provides users with a visualization of the different types of information found in our knowledge base and, how this information is acquired and integrated together – from the accumulation of gene-drug knowledge at the bottom of the pyramid, to the implementation of pharmacogenomics in the clinic at the top.
